The Hawthorne Caballeros Drum & Bugle Corps
Hawthorne, New Jersey
The 2008 Hawthorne Caballeros (Hawthorne, New Jersey) will proudly present the powerful and beautiful music of Chick Corea, Alfred Reed and Ernesto Lecuonia.
The show will begin with the music of Alfred Reed and a first for the Hawthorne Caballeros with an arrangement of El Camino Real. This will be followed with selections written by Chick Corea, one of the most prolific composers of the second half of the 20th Century. The Caballeros will perform Corea's Spanish Fantasy and My Spanish Heart. The show will end with Malaguena, written by Ernesto Lecuonia, composer and performer and perhaps the greatest and most legendary Cuban musician of his time.
The music, design and inspiration of the Caballeros 2008 presentation will include the magical blend of the Caballeros that will result in a performance that will excite members, fans and all lovers of Drum Corps.
