The Connecticut Hurricanes are pleased to announce 2010 production Heaven Sent. This energetic, emotional, and colorful production will feature source material from Newman, GLAD (the a capella group), Bernstein, and Rutter.
The program will be presented in 5 parts:
Part I - Angels in America, Thomas Newman
Part II - Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee, GLAD
Part III - God Said, Leonard Bernstein
Part IV - Before the Throne of God Above, GLAD
Part V - Gloria, John Rutter
Our talented design team of Michael Klesch (brass arranger), Kevin Murphy (battery arranger), Chris Johnson (front ensemble arranger), Jamey Thompson (visual designer), Philip Traini & John Lemire (colorguard designers) met this past weekend to further coordinate this program and are very excited about the potential for the 2010 edition of the Hurricanes. Program Coordinator Jim Dugan said, “The winter has been an exciting time and the turnouts have been great. We can’t wait to get this production out on the field for everyone to see. It is something that members and fans alike will enjoy!”
